nater006 Posted February 10, 2004 Author Report Posted February 10, 2004 The top end is pretty much new and the compression is great. The choke doesn't really feel spring loaded -- just like there's a vacuum pulling it back. Haven't tried holding it out and kicking it yet.. that'll be tomorrow night's activity (online test tonight for a class.. grrrr!) Anyway.. will try tomorrow and let you people know Hopefully it starts fine and I save a few bucks by not having to replace that choke plunger assembly. Thanks for the ideas! Quote
nater006 Posted February 13, 2004 Author Report Posted February 13, 2004 So the verdict is.... if you hold the choke plunger out it starts up great. It took 2 kicks, and the first kick the plunger wasn't even held out. The plunger is working properly because after it was warmed up, I pulled it out and it almost stalled the beastie. So, for now at least, thats the way around. It starts in the cold! Yay! Quote
