i'm about to cut my swingarm 2 inches and wondering how to make the skidplate fit. i'm running a PRM, which covers the shock linkage and wondering if this skid can be used after cutting 2 inches. Or which skidplate is the easiest to modify for a stock swingarm cut down 2 inches i willing to buy another since this is an extra swingarm. although i can't ride without one, i do alot of rough rocky riding.

the stock one will work or you can cut your aftermarket one out around the shock linkage

Yea, what he said.

I am 99% sure that I have shortened a swingarm for a guy that uses a PRM skidplate. I'll contact him and see if he can reply with what modifications were required.

i'd appreciate that, i'd hate to destroy it trying to modify it if there wasn't any way of using it, i'd rather try to find another one that would work and save the prm

i do have the stocker i can still use, but would like to use a stronger one, seen a bunch of bent rotors cause of the stocker.;

The man Mrmatt shorten my swingarm 2 inches and i'm running a RPM skid plate.

T469 What is your setup down there?I run a lowering strut when I put it on years back I had to mod the skid plate.When matt did my swingarm I had to mod the plate again.The RPM skid plate will work,but you will lose protection from your dog bone.It's very easy to do any ? fire away.......
