lian Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 would anyone know what the charges would be for set of pipes crossing into canada not the shipping price the duty price has anyone had experince or know what the fees are becouse i know if you buy from a store you get some fees at tyhe border from ups Quote
bigtreads Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 UPS charges their own brokerage fees which usualy add up to 58$CAD or more on top of the shipping. Obviously the cost of shipping will be determined by the mode air/ground and the size and weight. I try to have anything shipped USPS as they don't have their own bizzare brokeage/duty fee's and seem to get stuff here (B.C.)almost as fast. Still with Ebay and the internet it's way cheaper than the stealership. Quote
. Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 yeah, get them to ship it through the Postal service. It's cheaper. If they wont then tell them your going to go with another company that will ship it USPS and it'll be cheaper in the long run without the duties. Quote
909 Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 ship 'em fedex or USPS only! no UPS. Also, it would help if the shipper were willing to declare them as a gift or for repair and to be returned. Quote
