Wallrat Posted January 26, 2004 Report Posted January 26, 2004 I did the same thing with my gloves and it put a big deep pile of melted goo on the pipe. Steel wool didn't do shit except fall apart. I had to use a scotch-brite pad to take it off, then the steel wool did a great job making it shiny again. Quote
westcoastatv Posted January 27, 2004 Report Posted January 27, 2004 SOS pads work great on chrome parts. They are basically just fine steel wool that have been saturated with soap. I use them on new T5 pipes and they look great. Quote
