Dragg-on Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 I got a new EBC clutch, but want the strongest spring available for no slippage on my drag banshee, what are the strongest untill I get a lockup clutch? Quote
Proquad101 Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 I have 3 of the fzr 600 springs in my bike. It cut down on the slipping. If you are just drag racing you could try putting all 6 of the fzr springs in it, if it gets to hard to pull go back to 3. Quote
fixitrod Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 Just use one of those centrifugal lockouts. It won't matter what springs you have Quote
Dragg-on Posted January 19, 2004 Author Report Posted January 19, 2004 Does anyone know if Barnett springs can be used on an EBC clutch? Quote
00BANSHEE Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 I believe they can be used. The Barnett springs seem to be a little stiffer. You can mix and match springs to get the feel you like. I would just put all six of the Barnett springs in and get used to the harder pull. After a few rides I didn't even notice it anymore. Quote
BdBanshee Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 I have the Barnett's and they are stiffer than the EBC's. A friend had the EBC's in and clutch still slipped until he got some Barnett's. Quote
Wassup350 Posted January 19, 2004 Report Posted January 19, 2004 Go with the barnetts springs, and get an ez-pull kit for it. They work great. Quote
