Sheeboy12 Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 My friend has (had) a pretty kool raprtor set up. He can wheelie until there's a curve in the road. This was about 2 weeks ago... Aron (my friend) was showing off by walkin his craptor down this long ol gravel road. He was in 5th, i was close behind him. We were doin maybe 55-60. he sets the front end down with the wheels turned right, then the back right came off the ground, he tried to save it by going left but it just started to cartwheel down the road. It was throwing pieces of off his machine. Aron torn a rotator cup in his left shoulder and skined his back. The Craptor is now.... Crap. Read my other message about mail boxes... DON'T FU** WITH THEM Quote
fixitrod Posted January 17, 2004 Report Posted January 17, 2004 I did that on a dual purpose street bike once. Needless to say it ended about the same as your friends.. lol Quote
efward Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 This goes for sand riding as well. I wasn't really riding a wheelie, but the front tires were off the ground and I'm heading downhill in a tight section, I let off the gas to set the front tires back down so I can steer. The tires are turned slightly and they just dig into the sand and I'm up and over and the bike is catwheeling afer me. As for me, I got away with some really sore ribs - gotta love the sand. The bike looks like it twisted the frame. My cooler rack now sits at a 45 degree angle when looking at it from the back and the whole bike has a nice slant to the right. Could have been worse. Quote
