Crankshaft Main Bearings?

hey guys i just bought a new hot rod crankshaft with new main bearings. and i dont know what to do with the tiny ball bearing that is on the outside diameter of the right hand side outer bearing. what keeps the outside of the bearing stationary? do i only need to use the bearing clip?

 

my old right side outer bearing doesn't have the stock pin thats shown in the manual.

ok I think I understand....no pin on the bearings right??? yeah just use the clip on the drive side, if your worried they will move then run a small bead of locktight on the outter top of the bering before the cases go together.
