SICK BOY Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 Check out bluetrax.com they have a nice directions with pictures for adjusting your chain. That would be easier then me trying to tell you. Quote
jonlorio Posted January 14, 2004 Report Posted January 14, 2004 to check the clutch, adjust the cable back how it should be...1/16 slack, line the arrows up on the engine cases... now go putt-putting around 5-10mph, pull clutch in, shift to 4th or 5th gear, rev it to the moon, dump the clutch...now if the bike takes off line it would normally in a low gear, ur clutch needs replacing...if it bogs, the clutch is good Quote
ledofthezep Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 now go putt-putting around 5-10mph, pull clutch in, shift to 4th or 5th gear, rev it to the moon, dump the clutch...now if the bike takes off line it would normally in a low gear, ur clutch needs replacing...if it bogs, the clutch is good WTF I wouldn't suggest that. I'm not saying you're full of it, but I have never heard that before and it doesn't sound like a good thing to do. If the clutch is going out you'll notice it slipping, especially at WOT in the higher gears. Quote
Banchetta Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 I run my shee against a radar gun or car....You should hit around 72-74mph w/ stock exhaust, stock gearing, stock tire size....should hit around 85mph w/ aftermarket exhaust... Quote
