FoxBansheeRacing Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 I am running the Toomey 2-1 air filter and its so close to the pipes it will burn holes in the outerwear. Would some of that heat resistant tape work? I'll be going through outerwears weekly if I don't do something. Quote
00BANSHEE Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 My outerwears actually lay against my stingers so I wrap a small portion of the stinger with header wrap. Just wrap it around the stinger and when you want to remove it you just unwrap it. It doesn't have a sticky side to it so it doesn't ruin your stinger. BTW - I bought the wrap at a motorsports specialty shop. Quote
