jcrayz28 Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 Hey I would appreciate some help i am not sure what the gearing should be I have a 1989 banshee that just been rebuilt. It has Toomey t5 kehien 34mm carbs kn filters connected to the carb. reeds and reed spacers. I think thats it well what would be the best gearing for top end or bottem end Im not sure how I want to go thanks if you gave me the number for both. Quote
Just for fun Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 Stock is 14/41. With your mods you will really benefit going up a tooth in the front and staying stock in the rear. Any port work done? If so try a 16 front tooth. Good luck. Quote
jcrayz28 Posted January 10, 2004 Author Report Posted January 10, 2004 Thank you I dont have any port work done I dont think I bought it used Quote
Just for fun Posted January 10, 2004 Report Posted January 10, 2004 OK, go with a 15 front. Your carbs and Toomeys will benefit from the larger gearing in the front. You should notice a reasonable difference. Quote
