Jetting for 2:1 stock bore and stroke serval

Im in Indiana @600 elevation. 34pj carb. Best running so far is 55 pilot, 178 main, eel needle second clip from top. Air screw 1/2 out is best response and running. It feels softer on bottom than I think it should. I have bigger pilots, mains, and a eej needle ordered. Any advice would be great.

I have nearly an identical setup. Stock stroke, stock bore Alpha cub (Serval), 2-1 intake, 35 pwk carb at about 300ft elevation.  I am running 195 main, 42 pilot, DEK needle on the middle clip, air screw 2 turns out.  Mine seems to be pretty close.  Bottom feels pretty crisp, but going to move the needle one clip up (leaner) to see if that clean up the 1/8th to 3/4.
