bignasty1 Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 i need to know how much it will cost hone a set of cylinders? and where should i send them out to? any help is apreciated. Quote
spoin39 Posted December 27, 2003 Report Posted December 27, 2003 If you are just honing them (no deep scratches) the go to an auto parts store and buy a hone for a drill and do it yourself. Use some oil on the cylinder and hone. They are about $25-30. Quote
blk02banshee Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 Most automotive machine shops will hone 2-stroke cylinders. Quote
89 bansheedude Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 it would be much easyier and cheaper for you to do them yourself, i have always did mine myself. just make sure you do them even amount of time and use so cutting oil, or honeing oil. thanks, jayare Quote
ScreaminShee01 Posted December 28, 2003 Report Posted December 28, 2003 yeah get a hone and a drill and make sure you move at a constant speed back and forth dont stay in one place... and make sure it looks like its criss crossed up the cylinder Quote
