Banshee starts but then dies out

my 04 banshee starts when cold but then dies after a few seconds. Sometimes it stays on when I rev it and sometimes it dies out.  Sometimes it starts sometimes it won't. I noticed it's spitting out a lot of fuel from the carbs when i removed the air filters.  But mostly it only stays on when I stay on the throttle ... ?   Need help please
