killershee88 Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 OK heres wuts goin on. every time when i first start up my banshee it doesnt run right. It coughs spits sputters every thing! but then once i open it up every thing is fine. but when it cools down again it does it a LITTLE BIT not much.im runnin a 280 main stock pilot and 2 clips down needle position. Maybe a hotter plug?? any suggestions would be cool. Quote
cgamla Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 I had a problem similar to that and it ended up being screwed up needles and seats combined with a clogged overflow hose. Gas would trickle right up out of the main jet around the neeedle and leak into the reeds and fill up the crank case. Sometimes I would have to pull start the quad then when one side would fire it would blow an amazing amount of crap out the other pipe. Sounds like you might have the beginning of this problem. Hope this helps Quote
badass_r6 Posted December 26, 2003 Report Posted December 26, 2003 mine ran like that when i had my stock pilots in there. do a plug chop and see where your at on jetting. i ended up having to go to a 30 pilot jet and now it runs perfect. you might get more help if you post your problem in the jetting forum Quote
