Chariot intake with vforce reed question

Sorry if this has been covered before but I've been searching for hours with no clear answers. 

Chariot 35mm intake and vforce4 reeds. Anyone know if the stuffer can be left out of these cages or should I grind the plastic? Looks like it would be bad to leave as is.

I'm assuming this isn't an ideal setup for a stock bore and 4mil stroker with stock pipes 35mm pwk air striker carbs

Will I have any low to mid range power?

Shoving more air & fuel into something that cant flow out well is counter productive.  Why stock pipes?

Stock pipes are going to be very temporary.  Bought this thing years ago as just a frame and plastics and buddy gave me some stock pipes. I'm hunting for some better pipes but they are hard to find used or too spendy for now. Just want to finally get it running.
