Hello any smart Banshee Guy or Girl!

Well finally after many months of quibling with myself I have purchased some T5's through Ebay. A nice set came up that were four months old and they had a "Buy it Now" option for $350. I went for it cause they are a beautifull set and after seeing how lesser T5 sets sometimes go on ebay for at least 350 I thought I might as well get these for 350 and no more BS bidding cause i think these ones would have gone for more.

Well, OK enough of that justifying myself, LOL. To the question at hand, and I know this is one that has been answered for millinium. My Banshee is stock and I have a set of twin K&N filters (eliminate air box) to slap on when I slap on the T5 pipes & silencers. My main riding interest is dune riding/climbing @ Pismo Dunes in Ca. which is of course @ sea level. So, where would you start with main jets, pilots & needles position? Thanks guys, you are the best!!!!

I will use my bike for reference, it is close to what you are running.

I have T5s, Toomey Needles and the Toomey 2:1 Air Filter.

I run needle on 4th clip from the top, 370 mains, 30 pilots, air screws 1 3/4 turn out. I run at Glamis, so about 500' elevation, you will be even lower.

My bike runs like a raped ape.

I would start the same main and see how it runs. Do a plug check like you are supposed to in order to get stuff dialed in.

Dang lincster, I thought I was one of the few running that big on the mains without porting, heh.

Sheeweet, assuming 32:1 premix and 60-80F, I'd start a little smaller on the mains, like 320-340, with 30 pilots, airscrews 1.5 turns out, and needles in the stock (middle) clip position. Should be a safe starting point and you can dial it in from there. Good luck.

I hear ya BenBB. People think I am nuts, but my bike likes it, it like it alot. :D

I think people are afraid to go big on the mains, but I like being better safe than sorry.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention something about temp. I wanted to jet my bike for worst case. When we go to the dunes, it will drop to like 40-45, and we ride at night alot, so I wanted to be jetted for that and I figure if I lose a little during the day when it warms up, oh well. I don't have to be first everywhere, but my bike keeps running.

Sounds like about what I was thinking. However I like to run @ 40:1 so if I do 340's to start then hopefully I won't be on the lean side, but right now the temp around here is more like 50's & 60's. I'll try that and do the plug chop test.
