Bansheedriver Posted May 29, 2019 Author Report Posted May 29, 2019 (edited) OK so bear with the new guy here. Finally got my first Banshee and always wanted one! It's a 2003. Being a used machine it has a few minor issues but for the most part solid machine with no major issues. One issue I have is the ignition switch was busted. So I got a new one. While trying to find the other end of the harness where the switch plugs into I found this black little rectangle box mounted to the underside of the frame on the left side of the machine (sitting on it). The harness is unplugged from the black box. Has a 3 prong connector. Anyone know what this black box is for and should it be plugged in? Thanks! Edited May 29, 2019 by Bansheedriver Quote
Bansheedriver Posted May 29, 2019 Author Report Posted May 29, 2019 Also where could I find a wiring diagram/schematic for my machine? Yes I know a shop manual which I intend to get but want to get some things figured out quicker rather than later. Quote
97Screamer Posted May 29, 2019 Report Posted May 29, 2019 The box is part of the TORS (throttle override system). Leave it unplugged. The technical info section of the page has the manual and any and all diagrams you could want, I recommend you spend some time getting familiar over there: https://www.bansheehq.com/technical-information/ Quote
