OEM FRAME COLOR

I’m looking to touch up some rust spots on my 2003.  The frame is the silverish color from the factory does any one know what off the shelf brand and color spray paint comes closest to the OEM frame color?  Thank you

Touch base with your local Yamaha dealer, they used to be able to get you the actual touch up paint but I havent got any in a few years so I'm not sure if they still do. PJ1 also used to have the OEM yamaha silver. Other than that it's hard to get an exact match

Thank you I will try the Yamaha dealer..  I guess I can buy a few cans of spray paint and go by trial and error it’s not a show bike so it doesn’t have to be perfect match...

Check the nail polish isles. You look ridiculous doing it, but Iv been that guy at Walgreens looking for my particular yellow.

I have a decent area to touch up by the grab bar I need a can.

 

Does anyone know if this is the correct color- it must be close to it..

Hoppedup is your frame the same color as mine, the OEM silver ?

By your pic, I'm sure it is. I've used it on my '95 and an '01 for sure.

As long as it isn't the newer grey or dark silver, it'll match.

The grey frames, there is a steel wheel color that matches, (can't recall brand name right now)
