Banshee won’t rev?

I just picked up a 2000 Banshee.  The quad is bone stock.  It’s even got the original tires still(lol).  It ran great when I picked it up but by the time I got home, it’s was running pretty weird.  Didn’t seem like it wanted to rev consistently, it kind of cut in and out.

After digging through this forum, I found that I should dig into the TORS.  Sure enough, it was still intact.  So I unplugged it from the tiny black box and clipped the wires coming out I’ve the throttle assembly.  The quad seem to rev great after that.  I never had a chance to ride it,  until this afternoon.  It ran great after it warmed up and then a couple minutes into the ride it stopped reving again.  Here’s a link to a video of what it’s doing.  

 

Does it seem like it could be the parking break sensor?

Not the TORS, Yes it's the park brake rev limiter switch sticking.

So I went out and fired it up.  I was able to press on the wires going into the parking break mechanism on the handle bar and it would rev as normal.  Once I stopped putting pressure on them, it would fall flat again.  That being said, what would be the easiest way to disable that sensor?  Seems like there are varying opinions on the subject.  Thanks

Follow it down behind radiator and unplug it, remove parking brake cable, install a block off on caliper. You could just unplug it but what the hell

I may go the route of actually removing the whole thing at some point, but I was kind of hoping for quick and easy fix for now.  I’m just not sure which wires to unplug or clip?  I debated just cutting them by the lever itself but wasn’t sure if that would get the job done or not?

Or go back to the CDI and cut and isolate the Green w/Yellow stripe wire.

Thanks everyone, I traced the wires to the connection behind the radiator.  Unplugged them and all seems to be well.
