JUSTWANNARACE Posted November 27, 2017 Report Posted November 27, 2017 The poles on the stator do get dark colored sometimes. I would honestly check and make sure it wasn't pushing exhaust (smoke) through the crank seal behind the stator. Or through the case halves.. jmo Quote
Lukewarner99 Posted November 30, 2017 Author Report Posted November 30, 2017 I ohm tested it and it tested at 18.4 ohms so that’s in spec but it still smokes when I run it and all the coating around the poles are burnt why did it burn up when i put a new one in I don’t want the same thing to happen Quote
