id do the rear up 2-3 teeth. I like to the front sprocket as big as possible for easier chain rotations.

Sounds good. I'll look into some nice steel sprockets. JT's are nice right?

depends on set up and rider weight, may have to go up a tooth or two on the rear sprocket but maybe not. Ive seen plenty of people do it before. Id test them out and see for your self.
