Dawgler23
I just got my first banshee, and i am having a problem. When it is warm out it runs fine, but any thing under 60deg it bogs till the rpm's get up. I am thinking it is the jetting. The guy i got it from did no motor work except put a pro design filter on. Could it be that the filter could cause me to rejet. I live in suburbs of chicago so we get cold winters.
blk02banshee
You are a little lean on the low end. All you need to do, is turn your airscrews in a little. Since it's used, I'd turn both screws (the little ones on the left side of each carb) all the way in, until seated, then turn them out 1 full turn and try it. bansheeDUDE
I would go with blk02 on this one. I live in the backwoods of CT I have to lean mine out every winter because of temp and air density. Try just like he said. Set your screws in all the way and then back off 1 full turn. 1 3/4 works perfect for me in 25 to 40 degree weather.
boonman
BansheeDUDE, You shouldn't lean anything out when it gets colder. you need more fuel when the air is colder, and more dense. If you lean it out when it gets cold out, you are creating a recipe for disaster...
