87blueshee Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 Dont get mad i tried to search for this, if this already a topic then let me know. But i bought the Alba Suspension kit and it came with stainless steel brake lines and when i mounted the y bracket where it goes into the master cylinder it rubs on the my steering stem and i mounted it in all 3 holes and scrapes it everytime. So if you have sugestions or pics or have the right way to do it please let me know. Thanks Quote
fixitrod Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 Dont get mad i tried to search for this, Sorry, I don't have an answer because I can't picture what you're working on. It's just to bad this is what the hq is coming to. Don't worry about it man..... ask away. Just don't ask in 3 different forums and it's all good Quote
. Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 are you talking about the distribution block? My line coming out of my mastercylinder was too long so I just didnt mount the block back up. It's just sitting in there and it's fine. Dont know what your exact case is but zip ties are always a good option. Quote
87blueshee Posted December 6, 2003 Author Report Posted December 6, 2003 yeah i was talkin about the distribution block. IM thinkin about makin a little aluminum bracket for it or get a pair of lines that are two seperate ones that mount the master cylinder. Thanks tho Quote
rebelbanshee2 Posted December 6, 2003 Report Posted December 6, 2003 just zip tie it somewhere where its not in the way Quote
spoin39 Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 I ran my stainless line through the old hole the stock ones mounted to ( little square holes just below rad). put a rubber grommet in there first so it doesn't rub a hole in them and it keeps them from getting in your stem! Quote
