It's pretty straightforward. Get the cylinder tops clean, use some grease to hold the orings in place so they don't get pinched during installation, torque to 18-20 ft/lbs in a few steps using the same sequence as the stock head. Call me if you have any questions.

I thinks it was a success he took it to the local bike shop to get the head tourqued down with the 21cc. It went from 125 to 155 on both sides.

Quick question we live really near each other and my bike was a month ago at 116 and his last night was at 125. Why is that? My shit is brand new and his is 2 years old with no engine work on either. Mine stock, his fattys and reeds? Both run good.

Also if I check it again and there both at 116 and I get a noss head should I get 20 instead of 21?

I belive that it has somthing to do with the temps. I checked mine in the fall and it was the same a when i had it rebuilt in the summer at 155 and 157 or so. Checked it before i started to tear in to her for winter mods it know read 175 and 177. checked it with both times with the same guage.

Have you reciently rebuit the top end. The rings could have seated better?

I'd check it again and see where it is using the same guage.

I just checked one side today and it was at 119-120 and I used my guage on both bikes. He does live about 8 miles away and were about about five difference. None of us have done anything to the top end either. Is this just the way our bikes broke in?

He could have a little more carbon in the making less space for the air to compress. 5 difference is nothing.... really. That could have been from kicking it over faster....anything.
