Rm 80 Vs Ds 80

does anyone know if the suzuki ds 80, and suzuki rm 80 have the same engines? they r both 2 stroke 80s, and i was wondering if the engine was the same, and how they would match up against each other. any input would be greatly aprreciated. sorry its not atv related.

ds 80 is sssssllllloooooowwwwwwww. Its a bike for little kids. RM80's are pretty quick. The RM will whoop the DS's ass.

the ds is a piece, the rm is the race bike so it would whoop some ds ass

I own a 1996 rm 80. its my youngest sons bike.

it's as fast as my banshee in 4th gear. about 50 mph

Rm is Fast motha for 80cc not many bikes will beat one.CR80 KX80 KTM80 YZ80

are the only ones. There is no ATV that Can it in a 80 to 100cc.

oils smoke+Lanky,thanx for the info guy's...im going talk his mother into getting the rm 80 by telling her that as he grows he will get bored of the slow raptor without mods..he will need the rm 80 because he can grow into while it is stock and not get bored, on his first month, which would probably happen with the raptor. L8er....
