hey guys im just wodering my buddie has a 2004 yfz 450 hes done the cam mod and jets and has taken his baffel out and cut his air box, he raced my other buddie on a 98 banshee with fmf pipes and its been jetted and the banshee has never been rebuilt but it has good compression, anyway they raced on a pavement and the yfz beat the banshee by ahalf a quad lenght, now the idiots been bugging me to race his yfz and i want to know if ill beat him, we both have been riding for a while, my banshee has been board out .080 over with wiseco pistons and boyesen reeds (fresh motor) who do think would win. I know race him and find out, and im guna but i wana race him for money to shut him up. Anyway let me know what u guys think

hey guys I need to know what jets to put in my banshee. It has been board out .080 over with stock pipes and boyesen reads, The jets I think are stock, it was board out .040 when i took it apart to rebuild it. It runs good, Just wondering if I can get more power out of it by jetting it, thanks

wow your piston has a good chunk out of it, u better have a mecheniest check if u have enough meat left on your cyclinder wall to boar, u definetley have to boar it out and maybee buy a new cyclinder, Im not sure if u can buy a sleeve, I know u can with other bikes. A new sleeve would be way cheeper then 2 buy a cyclinder

im running a fresh motor right now, the oil i have is the 100 to 1 amsoil, what do u guys think is the best mixture for me right now, iv gone through about a half of a tank of gas with yamalube around 30 to 1 mix

there suposed to be closed all the way, And if yours are curled up on 1 corner the garbage 2, I just did mine and i had the same problem

does anyone know what ratio I should run for amsoil synthetic???? and whats the best oil to run in my banshee

the problem was, That there should be a hose going from carb 2 carb and it was missing, Not my doing it was like that when I bought it LOL

hey guys, I need some help setting my carbs i cant get them right does anyone know what the air screws should be set at, I think its 3/4 to 2 turns from seat but do they both have 2 be the exact same and for my idle i only have the screw on the top of my carb does anyone know what that should be at

what do u mean my ring gap, I got it board out to fit a bigger piston if thats what u mean so there is no gaps in the cyclinder

I dont wana ride it yet with a fresh motor if it is overheating, Id cry if the motor blew LOL

its not spitting coolent, iv never driven it yet and steam is just comming from the rad

the steim is comming from my rad all over

it did it befour I rebuilt it 2, and now it has all new head gaskets???? this is a real head scratcher thats driving me nuts, I wana go start it to find out whats going on but im afraid of it blowing, do u think its possible that crap is still burning off from when it was dirty

I woke up today thinking about the rad hoses being on wrong 2, But the one is shorter then the other so there is no way it could be wrong, But with the rad cap why would it make it steim

well I first put antifreeze in and it filled up quicker then i thought, But I did put some water in. Do ya think that maybee its too thick

ok just took my waterpump apart and it spins when i kick it over???? anyone have any thoughts
