echatman Posted March 25, 2016 Report Posted March 25, 2016 Trinity Stage IV 2 into 1 with airbox adapter, lid off and k&n. Fresh build with zero loss on leakdown test. I have tinkered with every combination imaginable. Starts easy, idles great, slight hesitation/miss off of idle. Rev a little and it runs like a raped ape. Here is the difference in my plugs. Currently at 48 pilot, EEJ needle second clip from bottom, air screw 1.5 turns. Have only ridden it from idle-1/2 throttle. Not concerned with the main at this point, only the hesitation. Almost sounds like it's missing until i build the rpm's just slightly. Am i rich or lean? Why the difference in the two plugs? Plug with no color on the base is stator side. Tried swapping coil plugs. Any ideas? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Sandking Posted March 25, 2016 Report Posted March 25, 2016 Rich on the pilot and the main is important. Put a 42 pilot in it and report back. If the main is too big it's going to bog at 1/2 throttle. Quote
echatman Posted March 25, 2016 Author Report Posted March 25, 2016 Thank you very much! Waiting on my 42 pilot to show up. Only have a 45. Needle recommendation? Mods below: 66mm bore, stock cyl VF3 35 PWK Pro-design with 20cc BB domes +4 timing T5's Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
echatman Posted March 25, 2016 Author Report Posted March 25, 2016 And it doesn't bog at half. It's wild at half. Only hesitates/misses at idle-1/8. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
