Wait! 260 mains with exhaust and intake? That's a time bomb waiting to go off.

I don't have the timing advanced yet. What main and pilot jets do u recommend for exhaust intake and reeds, with an advanced timing of +4

Yeah throw some 300s or 290s in there.

I had 290s on there when I bought the quad and it had a bog/ sputter at top end. Was fixed when I went down to 260d

What hes means is youre running lean which usually means that your engine will soon seize.... which i would agree to a certain point..

Even tho I had a sputter at WOT when I had 290s? My banshee seems to run great

what is your current pilot, needle, clip position?

With exhaust and open air box, you should be over 280 main and 30 pilot.

With reeds, pilot might stay at 30, but main should jump up one or two sizes. Depends on reeds.

Do this set up make sense? :

Intake ,exhaust, vf4reeds,

320main jets, 30 pilot

The intake fits in the air box, but the air box has no lid

so a proflow air filter?

With no lid, your main sounds like it might be a tad rich, but best to start rich when first jetting.

The pilot sounds good.

Thank you. You have helped out a lot
