It's not a good Idea to do it if you ride in nasty conditions or you have the stock filter setup. I run a pro-design adapter setup w/ a double bagged K&N paper filter. Mike Quote

wheeleymaster99 Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 i ride with twin k&ns but i mostly ride sand but if you are rideding trails and get them wet al all it will kill the enight i wouldent recmoend them cuz i've had them fall off at dunes luckly i found it but i dont think its a good idea togo with just put a k&n in your air box Quote
ledofthezep Posted December 2, 2003 Report Posted December 2, 2003 Get a Toomey 2:1 w/UNI filter with a waterproof outerwear. I've been the K&N Clamp-on route & they did ok, but were a PITA to clean & maintain,...and don't like moisture. Quote
