sheerider1026 Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 What about adding in the little locking tab to fit the notch on the frame mount? To keep it stationary 1 Quote
willaduncan Posted December 19, 2015 Author Report Posted December 19, 2015 I never thought about that since I wasn't planning on having someone with CAD do this up, but that's a great idea!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

ClaudeMachining Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Like I said to Willa, I can make it closer to the original height, but I will have to put smaller radius. Smaller radius = less strenght. Actually it's 1.4" higher than original. I'm open to any ideas, look or shape. I will do it one shot, 5 axis. A 300$ bracket lol! sleeper06 Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Since your feeling so giving this season I'm looking to have a new press plate machined to split cranks apart the one I have now works but it's very rough , I would love to have one that's true n square this way cranks press apart nicer Quote

possum Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Why dont you just do it right and cut off the stock mount and make a new one to the correct dimensions and weld it up. Ffs making it way to complicated. Quote

Ffs making it way to complicated. Why would you mod the frame for lights? What if I ever need a new frame, then I'd have to remod a frame. These brackets make it essentially plug-n-play Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
possum Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Yea true, dont want to mod a frame at all. Cause what if you ever need a new frame. Quote

Your way would certainly look better but that's much more modding than simply cutting off un-needed brackets Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
possum Posted December 20, 2015 Report Posted December 20, 2015 I never looked at headlight brackets as being "alot" of modding. Since I build full chassis'. I look at those brackets as a not very difficult. But if your not capable or have the means to do it. I get it, making those adapters. Quote

Dixie normus Posted December 20, 2015 Report Posted December 20, 2015 No powder under the bracket when he cuts it off. I don't blame him for not wanting to hack it up 1 Quote
