Howdy!

 

What are the differences between the Cool Head and and the Noss head? Currently I run the Cool Head and see that most people on the BHQ run the Noss. Also, I have a stock engine with aftermarket reeds and the head. Whats the suggested dome size and why. If going to smaller domes with no mods will create a problem...why.

The Noss head uses the stock studs so they don't have to be changed and it also has deflectors which direct the coolant for more even cooling. The dome depends on elevation, porting, timing, and the fuel to be used.

Thanks dlnoss.......just in case......3400 ft elevation, VP C-12 fuel, no porting and stock timing.

 

Im thinking of going with the Dyna ignition module but have not committed yet.
