Hi guys,

So after spending 12 years as stock, I'm finally doing some light mods to my '03.  Took the opportunity to do some general maintenance as well, so right now I've got her broken down to a motor and rolling chassis.

Anywho...  I'd previously been running 32:1 premix with the stock engine, seemed to be a decent mix for factory tune (despite the manual's recommendation).  Installing some Toomey TR6's, #280 jets, and the unifilter 2-1, along with new Boyesen reeds and fresh plugs this weekend along with some non-performance upgrades (nerfs, sprockets, other misc.).  My question is this:

Should I revert to factory 24:1 premix with the revised jetting and increased airflow, or maintain the 32:1 I'd previously run?  Also, I have both BR8ES and BR9ES plugs on hand, mostly duning, so lots of high speed.  Had run the 8s previously, any benefit to a cooler plug?  Always seemed to run rich as it was, even at 32:1, makes me think I might see better results with a 7.
