Banshee_82 Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 I have been having a problem with my banshee when I'm riding it. It will run good for 25-45 minutes until it fouls a plug. It's will start to bog out and shut off. The right side, is the side that keeps fouling. I notices at the tip of the silencer, it is very black on the right side and and not on the left side. So I'm thinking the right side is too rich? Any ideas on the problem? Quote
Lowroll Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 (edited) I would be inclined to say the crank seal is leaking, Check the trans fluid and see if its low. I just replaced mine for the same reason only my whole seal let go and it was smoking very very heavy out the right pipe and fouling up the plug Edited August 6, 2015 by Lowroll 1 Quote
Banshee_82 Posted August 6, 2015 Author Report Posted August 6, 2015 I'll take a look at it. Mine seems to smoke a normal amount on each side, but just one side is too rich. Quote
do-work-son Posted August 6, 2015 Report Posted August 6, 2015 Possible weak spark. Maybe a bad plug cap leak check it then switch you plug wires see of it follow that wire. Quote
sleeper06 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 I would def pressure test motor and coolant system I've seen small head gasket leaks cause fouling plugs many times Quote
