It cranked right up and ran good for a few minutes, but when I went to shut it off it just kept on running. I don't have a key I just turned the switch off. Anybody know what would cause this? The black wire out of the CDI has to be grounded, so when the White/black wire from the kill switch grounds the bike will shut off. hoppedupandcutdown Posted July 12, 2015 Report Share Posted July 12, 2015 I just remember DDQ had his black wire broke in the harness and even touching the White/black to the engine wouldn't kill it. so his deadman would not work no matter what. I'm gonna have to brush up on some of this stuff. The tors is gone but the connector to the tors module is still connected to the harness. I did chop off the tors carb connectors though. All that's left is the connector that goes from the harness to the tors control module connector. I will take a closer look at all the tors wires tomorrow to make sure none of the wires are grounding. Thanks for the info so far.
