BamBam6942 Posted July 12, 2015 Report Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) I recently bought a banshee and just rebuilt the top end ( stock cylinders). The previous owner added a fmf pipe and and a trinity 2-1 carb set up. Ok here's my problem ,,,,fired it up after rebuild and did a heat cycle ,,,,,, everything sounded fine and ran fine , maybe a little rich idling but nothing out of the norm. Went to do second heat cycle ,,,, And the shee died 3-4 min into. Fired right back up but then I got to looking around , I noticed the the left side exhaust was hot ( normal). But the right side was barely warm ,,,,,,normally I would think it was the carbs ,,, but since I have the 2-1 ,,,, I don't think that's it. Any suggestions ?? Edited July 12, 2015 by BamBam6942 Quote

boarder8135 Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 idk if you have the same exact problem, but I ended up messing up my coil for my spark plugs since it wasn't grounded well. This caused only one side to work and I had the same temp issue where one side was cold and one was normal temp Quote
fastbanshee8 Posted July 19, 2015 Report Posted July 19, 2015 Check the pick-up gap on your flywheel, .018-.020. A business card works good, or feeler gauges. Take the spark plug boots off, and cut the wires back about a 1/4". Put new plug boots on. Quote
