you want around a 1" rake making your rear a hair lower with you on it IIRC.

You want to def lower your front end a considerable amount HOWEVER DO NOT let your arms go into a negative angle with you on it, you still want them to have a slight upward angle.

also look into getting a steering stabilizer if you dont got one yet.

Also.. work it out so that you have a nice transition of weight transfer, it will help with the "hit" on the PB to keep better traction and not be as hard on the rider on hard stops and accel

Cheers for the good info, shee will be going on the scales when my sway bar arrives

You are too high. Need to be as low and as wide as as you can be.

Negative, to low will make ya slow. These things need some height to transfer weight and actually hook up. The crazy low stuff turns, but very very rarely gets hooked up well.

Ride height is a tricky set up. It's never the same for different tracks. Are you on a banked or level track. Dry slick or tacky. Night or day.

I did a lot of oval racing on 3/8. 1/4 mile tracks. You need to go by feel and experience. The proper ride height will allow you to control you slide by your own height on the bike. Leaning down to make it slide and sitting to hook up.

Take an empty water bottle and place it on a table. Use your index finger and push on the top and it falls over. Now keep pushing lowers d lower till your at the balance point. You want your bike set up so that you are adjusting your seating position for the bikes Center of gravity around this balance point.

This will help with weight transfer under acceleration and deceleration also. And shock valving. Spring rates. And the take up spring collars change everything too

Cheers for the videos and info. The tracks I'll be on once my injury go's away are banked and tacky/damp flat and dry and banked and dry and all different sizes even a flat dirt circuit. So I'll have multiple setups for every condition I spose

Investigate castor and what it does. If you're doing oval check out what the sprint guys are doing.... A if you can do different settings left and right, there are some advantages to staggering camber for a particular application.
