ryguy27
Concerned about not running a box in the places we ride, a lot of coal dirt and wet areas, very fine coal dust.
Bennett131
I ride in coal dust and wet areas with pods, I have had zero issuies. It makes it so much nicer when trying to get the bike dialed in too.

ryguy27
Yeah I understand how to get the box off, just looking to remove those tabs because with bigger carbs it's a pain in the ass to take on and off because of such little clearance. May try pods though

Bennett131
May as well ditch the coolant bottle too.
Abe
Remove just the front section of the cup on air box itself. This will allow it to be installed from the rear and still have the tabs to support the weight
special06shee
Concerned about not running a box in the places we ride, a lot of coal dirt and wet areas, very fine coal dust.ditch the whole airbox set up and buy a set of dual stage uni filters with outtwear to fit larger carb. I have rode in the coal region for many yrs. and have never had a problem with uni's. I have had problems with k&n's tho. Seems like the fine coal on super dusty days can get through the k&n element. Uni's are much superior for protection.
