special06shee Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 Concerned about not running a box in the places we ride, a lot of coal dirt and wet areas, very fine coal dust.ditch the whole airbox set up and buy a set of dual stage uni filters with outtwear to fit larger carb. I have rode in the coal region for many yrs. and have never had a problem with uni's. I have had problems with k&n's tho. Seems like the fine coal on super dusty days can get through the k&n element. Uni's are much superior for protection. 3 Quote
