Just want some other suggestions on pros and cons of the different fluids out there. My cousin uses regular car oil for the gears 10w40 and swears its just as good as all the high priced shit. I don't know about it but its definitely way cheaper than whats out there. Quote

greg_banshee Posted February 26, 2015 Report Posted February 26, 2015 I just run what the manual says for the gear box (10w40 yamalube) and usually either Bel-Ray H1R or yamalube 2R mix at 40:1 or 32:1.
