ninjamaster Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 4 oz to 1 gallon = 8oz to 2 gallons or 5 oz to one gallon= 10 oz to 2 gallons. With yamalube R 2 stroke and pump gas. For a stock motor, Keep in mind yamaha recommends 5 0z to 1 gallon. I have been running 4 oz to a gallon. What will happen if I add 1 oz What would you mix if you had a 2001 stock banshee and were useing pump gas mixed with yama lube R Quote
boonman Posted November 24, 2003 Report Posted November 24, 2003 I would mix 32:1. 4 oz. to 1 gallon. A gallon is 128 ounces. SO you can figure it out that way.. Quote
ninjamaster Posted November 24, 2003 Author Report Posted November 24, 2003 Thats what everyone else told me. I wonder why yamaha recomends 5 oz to 1 gallon? Thanks Quote

Remeber the oil is designed for the motor, the motor is not designed for the oil. Use the recommondation of the oil maker. Quote
Blue Duece Posted November 25, 2003 Report Posted November 25, 2003 if your buying yamy lube by the quart pour half the bottle(theres a clear indicator on the side, 16oz) into 5 gallons of premium fuel (shake, fill) and go ride, when thats gone pour the other half into another 5 galllons and go ride again, repeat these steps as often as you can.......
