  1. what are the pro's and cons of turning the wheels to make the shee wider,i know ill have to do something with the valves on the front ones, but i dont want to go ahead if this could damage the shee.any feedback would b great!!! p.s i cant afford a-arms or wider axle just now
  2. looking at new pipes 4 the shee, came across trinity racing pipes, anyone got them or know if they are any good.dont race the bike just fun use little bit of trail, bike is basically standard apart from pro-flow filter and boost bottle any help would b great thanx!!
  3. my friend runs a k&n filter and powerlid on his raptor(booo!)and was very happy with the results sounds good too was thinking of gettin one myself for the shee!
  4. lmao thats hilarious 10/10 mate!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. why does the yfz 450 not have a name?,they named the other quads blaster,warrior,banshee,raptor.....etc,etc....maybe they sacked the guy at yamaha that thought up the names,i dont know.(any suggestions for a name for the 450 post them here!).should b a laugh!
  6. cheers ben much appreciated, and your right about the chrome thing,i just love rubbin my chrome!!!!!!!!!!
  7. how stupid do i feel !!ha ha if your right popeye someone must have been "blowing stoor up my ar***!" (takin the pi**)im sure i read that u can put filters on 2 strokes but ah well.thanx!!
  8. probably so u buy more of their oil, like they dont get enough money from us
  9. before i start i know a lot of people have a few bad things to say about boost bottles but it was chrome and it looked good(well i thought so!)so please dont give me a hard time about it ,anyway i heard it was a good idea to have a fuel filter,so i went out and got myself a nice chrome one(aaaa!!).the problem is there is no room for it since the fuel pipe from the tank is so close to the bottle,is there any way i can fit the filter without losin the bottle, thought about longer fuel pipe maybe re-route,any ideas?
  10. ive got a similar problem the only difference is my carbs only do it when its runnin, after about half an hour the engine and rear shock cover is soaked with fuel, and i know how u feel im fed up of stippin and cleaning carbs for hours!!.i think ill take them to bed with me i could probably strip them down in my sleep
  11. i bought my 03 banshee new the gears were a little stiff at first but i think it was with everything being new, didnt have as much trouble as you are, have u checked the tranny oil?. if its a new one maybe get it checked out while its under waranty,or maybe someone else here will b able to help u a bit more than me .
  12. thanx again guys have used all of your advice and things are lookin nice and tidy, just one more thing (honestly ha ha).when i took flywheel off today to get things cleaned up i noticed that the contacts on the stator had some corrosion on them i gave them a bit of a rub with steel wool but didnt know if i would damage anything, should i clean all the rust off or do they need replaced?.still dont know how it got so bad in there the gasket seems fine and the shees not even a year old......thanx again!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. cheers guys, would it hurt to take off the rust from the outside of the flywheel with some mild steel wool as well?.
