BANSHEEBEEFM2M Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Can you do it? I mostly hear of billet being anodized. Just wanted to do my stator cover, water pump cover, and a few other small things. Will it hold up and not f*ck nothin off? Quote
Dixie normus Posted December 14, 2014 Report Posted December 14, 2014 Yep. Sure can. Just make sure to sandblast Quote
camatv Posted December 15, 2014 Report Posted December 15, 2014 not sure why it wouldnt work.. sand blast, out gas anything that may have come inn contact with fuel, oils, grease. powder away of course any specific surfaces need to be left alone like the areas where stuff bolts onto motors i would tape off the mounting surfaces of the covers. rubberneck Posted December 16, 2014 Report Posted December 16, 2014 absolutely, im fucking over polishing, so everytime something on my bike needs repolished i PC it instead. On oily shit, I precook it to let all the oil drain out of the pores, hit it with some acetone and recook just to make sure the oil is gone, then i blast and then PC as normal. works like a charm.
