I'm generally always opposed to such suggestions. This one had me asking tough, "what could they build at Silver Lake with the money?"

 

Then I read:

"Loomis said he’s also upset that the voucher funds will not be used for park improvements. “The money, potentially over $1,000,000 this summer alone, will not go for improvements to Silver Lake or any other state park,” he said. “It will be used to pay an outside company to run the (voucher) system. That company is not in Michigan — it’s not even in the U.S.” He said the company is based in Canada."

 

Absurd.

 

Does this have to do with law enforcement? Is that the reason to try to limit how many people are there every weekend?

Its already a pain in the ass to get let alone pay for it. End up waiting for hours in line....to maybe get in  I also hear there is now a speed limit on the beach........WTF
