roblipka6banshee
I'm selling one of my banshees, a guy came by to look at it and he brought a compression tester, got just over 90 on both sides. Is that low enough that it needs a rebuild or is it still fine? It runs fine so I never thought of it. BUILDER
That is getting down there pretty close to needing a rebuild. It gets any lower than that and you are going to start having issues. So to answer your question if it was mine and it was that low yes I would be rebuilding it. 03DMshee
Make sure its a good tester too...I have seen some cheaper testers give false readings...how many kicks to get it started?
BUILDER
I actually agree with Zilla for once. I would buy my own tester make sure you that you hold the throttle wide open and kick it over till the gauge quits moving and see what you get for a reading. Then you will know for sure. If you get the same numbers he did then yes it is time for new pistons.
