tyler73 Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 i just bought my first banshee the person i bought it from had the key switch removed they just took a butt connector and tied the red and black wires together but i want a key so i ordered a new key switch my question is when u turn the key off will the engine shut off? and also the factory kill switch is not working i want to be able to shut the engine off without having to drop clutch or choke it out Quote

Starwriter Posted September 21, 2014 Report Posted September 21, 2014 Open up the kill switch. See if a wire is broke off the plastic block at the solder connection or if the plastic block is out of place. Quote
tyler73 Posted September 21, 2014 Author Report Posted September 21, 2014 ok cool yeah it don't have a key at all right now it was cut out but new one from amazon for $8.00 is on its way but thats good that the key will shut it off since the factory off/run switch on the handlebars under the headlight switch don't work Quote
