2004LEBanshee Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 Does anyone make these or do I have to have them painted? Also what size should I get and How wide of a tire? Looking at hole shots or razors not sure Quote

Meat Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 You can get Champion beadlocks from JamesLucky.com, they sell em with different color beadlock "plates". Hipers are the ticket tho..... Quote
evil Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 id go with hypers too, but if not just get the polished ones and have them powder coated black, i think itp use to make a black rim but havent seen it in a while. Quote
tats4life Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 I just sold my hipers to a buddy that woods rides. I do not recommond those wheels on a woods shee, he egg shelled the right rear pretty bad. I had the 8x8 dual rears and the 10x5 with 4+1 offset. I had to run that offset because of the roll front end. Hey evil i just got all my shamrock beadlock rims in for my outlaw, can i powder coat them??? Did you get my pic? Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted November 19, 2003 Author Report Posted November 19, 2003 Yeah, I heard that they can bust easily. Quote
Yamahammer Posted November 19, 2003 Report Posted November 19, 2003 I like these itp bead lock the t9 baja but you would have to get the baja powdercoated i think when i called they said $25 a wheel. I really like the omf's but have not been able to get a price on them yet. check it out itp bead locks already black i am looking for a black wheel also. I looked at the carbon fibers but would hate to beak one so i am going with a aluminum wheel or the omf Quote

Stylemaster Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 cant you replace like broken sections of a hiper wheel? i thought i remember hearing once that the rim is in like 6 or 7 pieces and you can replace 1/4th of it if need be? Quote
Meat Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 I do not recommond those wheels on a woods shee I gotta disagree, Chris Borich and Matt Smiley, GNCC pro racers finished #2 & #3 respectivly this year. Both running Hiper wheels. Johnny Gallagher old school GNCC racer, placed 1st this year in the senior class, runs Hiper wheels. Chris Borich Matt Smiley John Gallagher Jason Dunkleburger, John Natalie and Dana Creech, all big name GNC racers use Hiper wheels. Jason Dunkleburger Dana Creech Quote
Yamahammer Posted November 21, 2003 Report Posted November 21, 2003 How do they hold up when coming in contact with rocks like in the desert i would run them if i thought they would hold up. If you can dent a metal rim you would think it would splinter the cf ones. I like those rims alot Quote
