juldan1 Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 I installed some toomey t4s and a "perfect jet kit" from toomey. I vented the airbox with the provided vents they sent me. The main jet is a 290 pilot jet the standard 25 and the needles on the 4th groove. It runs real good. Doesnt seem to be lean or to rich for that matter. Any suggestion to point me in the right direction. Looked for air leaks, adjusted air screws and synched carbs to the best of my ability. its a 03. whats the sign of an impellar going out. Overheated one time been watching and worrying Quote
. Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 do you add more coolant to the overflow bottle every time? I know mine will spill out if I add any. It likes to sit with only a tiny little bit in the bottom. Quote
Justintoxicated Posted November 17, 2003 Report Posted November 17, 2003 add some water wetter, good toxic shit Mine used to boil over a little when going up and then down large sand dunes, like it would rock the coolant out over the pipe when the coolant was near boiling...I stopped refilling the collant bottle and added water wetter, and the problem stoped Quote
