SquatchXXL Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 Hoping someone can help. Shes popping and bogging down at the mid rpm range when the powerband should be kicking in. Has new pistons rings gasket and head. carbs have new guts and seem to be synced right. Was told its coil packs. How do I test that? Was told by person I bought it from that its a new coil. Strm Trpr Posted June 10, 2014 Report Posted June 10, 2014 First verify that there is a hose connecting the two carbs that is parallel to the choke. If yes. Pull the choke out fully and try and ride it. If it gets into the powerband with less popping, you're jetting is lean. Stop and report back with all mods and what jets are in the carbs. Quote
