jayzx10r Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 Heading out to Glamis on Thursday night so I can wake up in the sand on the 4th. Gonna be on Pad 3 off Gecko Rd. It's windy this week and will calm down by the weekend so it'll be epic!! Look for a sand colored RV with orange cones on the roof... Quote
mailman Posted March 30, 2014 Report Posted March 30, 2014 I will be out there with my cub and 450R. Just look for the old fast guy at the hill. Quote
possum Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 just went and olds is all chopped and whooped out. Quote
mailman Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 That is the norm for Olds. Just pin it and hang on. I was just out there Saturday. Were you at the hill at all? Quote
possum Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 yea i was there for like 20 min. Its to rough for me. Dumont is where its at! Quote
GleasmJA Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Do you need any passes for riding at dumont? Quote
possum Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 yep just like glamis. buy them on the way in. Quote
GleasmJA Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Got it.... Should check it out one day. What type of terrain? Quote
hp2000 Posted April 1, 2014 Report Posted April 1, 2014 Dumont is cool to shoot the hill for sure smoother than glamis, but riding area of glamis makes dumont look like a kiddie sand box. The whoops at olds can get pretty deep but like mailman said lean back and ride it out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
jayzx10r Posted April 1, 2014 Author Report Posted April 1, 2014 (edited) Douchemont is pretty sweet if you're a dragger. It's something like 3 miles long x 3/4 mile wide with easy access to the steep main attraction drag hill. Boring after about 20 minutes if you're a duner. No real bowls, some steep verts tho. And that's about it!! Once and done.... Edited April 1, 2014 by jayzx10r Quote
banshee760 Posted April 8, 2014 Report Posted April 8, 2014 Drag and shooting the hill dumont it's where it's at , glamis for riding unless you grade the hill , then it gets interesting and the hill is a litle longer than dumont Quote
