Total rebuild for racing

Recommended Posts

How much do you think it will cost to rebuild top and bottom at a shop to make my engine beast? I don't have any clue that's why I ask.

Complete build for a 4 mill stroker crank and ported cylinders…..just under $2000.

Give us an idea of what your budget is because you have more than one path to finding power.

If your carb tuning experience is minimal……you might want to climb the horsepower ladder slowly as you go so you don't end up destroying a lot of good parts on your tuning learning curve.

OP you're at the right place if you are clueless. So are 99% of the people in this thread and site.

If even one of us in this thread has a clue, 99% is not a possible percentage.

If all of us are clueless, that would be 100%.

(Don't trust Juan with the math)  ;)

LOL I got more replies on this silly question then actual things I needed help with. I want it to be for quarter miles and I have close to 10k but I'm not going to completely drag it out. I'm not trying to have the fastest banshee in the world or anything, just some thing to win with. But I am only worried about the engine right now, its the first thing on the list.
